Born of twisted kin
Why do you suffer for them?
Their hearts are nowhere
Those molded through sin
Was that light in your eyes?
Or just the white of mine?
Through night and day, this feeble shell
Cracks deepen, burrow in my pride
Then suddenly, I hear their call
Bestow me courage and sound mind
I am of use, I am appalled
This presence will not abide me
I live today for absent friends
And I will know their wishes
Broken and amused
I am the clay of the earth
You'll get what you deserve
We have been abused
The time for words is gone
When I became the Fisher King
My pride and anguish consumed me
To feast upon such bitter gold
My palace reigns on borrowed dirt
The fertile coil of abandon
Their bodies rest but we are looming
The plight of rain, our withered souls
Lie buried, smolder and ashfall
My final ache, release me now
Condemned to drown within it all
These ivory walls, the bloodied floor
My only friends in the world
No sun will set for my repose
You will not see my weakness
For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
Weedian presents a 56-track chronicle of Mexico's stoner metal and heavy psych scenes, from ’90s forefathers to contemporary wrecking crews. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 21, 2022
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
