Panicked delirium, enemy at the door
Beneath the cataracts words that never were
Momentarily spoken through bastard tongue
Arcadia, watch it all come undone
Was it pride?
Was it fear or anger calling you inside?
I don't recognize this state of man's configuration
Metamorphosis, bury the wicked kin
In lies deliverance beckoning to the djinn
At the precipice, will of the feral one
Arcadia, watch it all come undone
Don't let them know your name
Seldom to trust at all
Now and then it seems
Past lives have been recalled
Stasis gone so soon
So many faces loom
In the abject task of knowledge
Built a realm of peace and solace
Quivering, old selves have followed
Wear the mask that I have borrowed
The anomalous rat king bellows
All the fine men cast no shadows
The resented sons and daughters
In the embrace of dead waters
All of the fears I have known
(Rest my bones, so alone)
Will coalesce into you
(Wounded head, I never bled)
Order will bring a permanent home
(Honest eyes, I told a lie)
Never again to be lost
(Never again to speak)
For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
Weedian presents a 56-track chronicle of Mexico's stoner metal and heavy psych scenes, from ’90s forefathers to contemporary wrecking crews. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 21, 2022
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
